10.75cm diameter coir fibre pots (with rim)

A useful mid sized pot for growing on young plants ready for planting out in the garden, for growing in the greenhouse or maybe to grow a few herbs on the windowsill.  The rim on this design gives it a little more strength around the top of the pot and makes for easier handling.  Once in use, the pot will retain its integrity and shape for up to a year, providing it remains above ground.  As the pot ages, the latex that helps bind the coir fibres together, will gradually degrade, which will give the pots an increasingly hairy appearance.  Don't forget there is no need to remove the plant from the pot, simply plant the whole thing.  The roots will grow easily and rapidly through the pot walls into the surrounding soil and then the coir will break down over a couple of months.
