Centaurea dealbata

This perennial cornflower has strikingly coloured flower petals. Stunning cerise flowers with pale centres appear throughout the summer. Flower stems reach up to 75cm above a lower mound of silvery foliage. Divided silver-green foliage contrasts beautifully with the flowers. Loves full sun and does particularly well in lime soil types.
