Euphorbia amygdaloides Purpurea

Euphorbia amyg. Purpurea is a purple form of Wood Spurge with strongly coloured stems and leaves. Small yellow, simple flowers and bracts contrast well with the foliage. Flower stems will reach 75cm and branch up to a width of 45cm. Great looking plant in leaf or flower but watch out for the irritating sap. Will perform well in full sun or partial shade on most well drained soil types. CAUTION; the milky sap is a strong skin/eye irritant.
