Helleborus orientalis
Helleborus orientalis is the beautiful Lenten Rose that produces long lasting flowers in early spring. Various shades from white through pink to dark purple, some may also be spotted. Reaches 45cm in height with a similar spread. Looks great near border edges and fantastic in drifts under deciduous trees (be patient!). Does best in moist but not waterlogged soil under light shade.
