Schizostylus coccinea

Schizostylis coccinea has beautiful exotic orange/red flowers that are produced from late summer into the autumn. Red/orange flower spikes contrast well with upright sword like foliage. Reaches a height of 60cm and a spread of 30cm.  A good plant for autumn colour and also makes a great cut flower. Grows well in most good garden soils in a sheltered sunny position.
