Sorrel, Common Green

A useful perennial herb, it's leaves (in moderation!) adding zip to salads, stuffings, eggs and soups. Said to be a good appetite stimulant. Likes a good moist garden soil in sun or partial shade. Remove any flower spikes to encourage more leaf production and pick the leaves when small as bitterness increases in the larger, older leaves.
