The boxes were designed and made especially for us to display our plants in the nurseries and garden centres that stock our hairy pots. The idea behind them is that they can be returned to us and reused many times, allowing us to supply the hairy pots in attractive but sustainable packaging. We have been asked on several occasions if we would sell some to the gardening public and that is why we are now offering them for sale here, just in case you wish to display your hairy stuff, at home, in a woody container!
Each box includes a wooden insert to help hold up the 12, 1 litre pots that they can hold. The box dimensions are 540mm x 415mm x 75mm. Each tray weighs approx 2.5 kgs.
The boxes we send out will be as near new as we can manage. The boxes will be in good condition although the colour will vary between boxes, depending on the 'distress' levels experienced during the trays life. The boxes will also develop 'character lines' and curves which is something we all suffer from with age!
